Service Description

New 1:1 running sessions led by Caroline: bespoke individual sessions to suit your running needs Are you training for an upcoming event or working towards a particular fitness goal? Are you a runner looking to get to know the local area better? Are you new to running or needing support to get into regular exercise? Wherever you are on this scale, 1:1 sessions could support your fitness journey. 1:1 running gives you flexibility and control : sessions are arranged at times and start/finish points that suit YOU! New to running and regular fitness? Suggested session: 2k power walk progressing to slow jog loop of Hilly Fields, Ladywell Fields or Telegraph Hill with varying effort and gently increasing milestones Lapsed or irregular runner seeking company to exercise? Suggested session: Up to 5k buddy running system on easy and varied local routes starting either from a local landmark or pick-up from your home Regular runner looking for inspiration on running routes or local visitor wanting to get to know the area while exercising? Suggested session: 5k to 10k loop taking in varied running routes and local landmarks, culture and history Experienced runner seeking event practise or support over a particular distance, terrain or surface? Suggested session: Bespoke 5k, 10k, half marathon or other distance route, on a timetable building towards race day Caroline is a Leadership in Running Fitness accredited running and walking tour guide, with 3 years’ experience leading bespoke running and walking tours in London. She holds current DBS, first aid and safeguarding qualifications through England Athletics. She has a Masters’ degree in history and can turn local history and culture into interesting and entertaining running routes. Caroline is friendly and welcoming and is looking forward to supporting your running journey. Caroline has previously led Hilly Fields Running sessions and is setting up these 1:1 sessions as a complementary offer to the group running sessions led by Mary. They are for running motivation and support; for running coaching, please contact a CiRF (Coach in Running Fitness) qualified individual.
