*Structured group run sessions *Explore a variety of run workouts * Technique tips for performance and injury prevention *Boost & mix up your running *Reach your running goals * Suitable for every running ability Fridays 9:30-10:30 in Hilly Fields We think running together adds fun, motivation and challenge to running and helps you reach your running goals, whatever they may be. Join our structured group run sessions, each including a warm up, cool down and stretches. We explore a variety of run workouts to boost and mix-up your running. We make every session different and give each session a purpose. The sessions will target endurance, speed, strength and running technique using the paths and hills of Hilly Fields park. All our sessions are carefully designed to be suitable for all running abilities. Your run leader will be Mary Brooking, an England Athletics licensed coach. Mary has been a runner for many years participating in a variety of events from park runs to marathons and is keen to share her love of running, her understanding of its mental and physical benefits, and the importance of having a structure to your running to prevent injury as well as improving performance. Mary is also a Sports Massage therapist so brings a unique combination of skills to the running sessions she leads. If you haven't been to a Hilly Fields Run session before the first session is free, select the "Trial session" pack at checkout. Logistics: Hilly Fields Run Sessions meet outside the entrance to the Francis Drake Bowls Club in Hilly Fields, next to the Junction of Hilly Fields Crescent & Trywhitt Road.

Cancellation Policy

Hilly Fields Run Sessions Terms & Conditions ​ I understand that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not run unless medically fit to do so and have informed Mary Brooking of any injuries or health conditions I have. I understand that the weather can make conditions wet and slippy and that there is a danger of weather related injury. I assume all risks associated with participating in Hilly Fields Run Sessions included but not limited to trips, falls and contact with other participants or members of the public, the effects of the weather, ground and path conditions and traffic. I waive and release Mary Brooking from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in these sessions. I hereby grant permission for emergency medical treatment or medication to be administered by Mary Brooking or other qualified medical first responders in the event of an emergency. During the run sessions photographs and videos may be taken and may be used for publicity and promoting future run sessions and/or sharing with participants in run sessions. I agree for photos and videos which include me to be taken and used in this way. Amendment or cancellation of participation in a session is possible up to 2 hours before a session is scheduled to start.
